this card was made in a craft class I used to attend until it closed down last year (such a shame) I adapted it to for my FIL who was 94 on Friday..............................

he still does amazingly well and although cannot see so well these days, it doesn't stop him getting out and about.......................

the card blank is black and I chose to photograph it on a black background!!!!......................

Ingredients used:-

SU Feeling Sentimental Stamps
SU Ticket Die and Stamp
DI Inks
Random Script Stamp
Mixture of Sentiment Stamps

I am at this very moment scratching my head as I have another male card to make and I am really struggling for ideas and it has to be done by tomorrow evening (no pressure)!!!

Just a quickie........................

for want of a better expression!!

I am really struggling for time at the mo but am determined to post so here goes....................

The post is a quickie and so was the card really as I had already practice cut the original die to see how it looked and when I got around to making a card I just die cut again so I could decoupage the butterflies.

The border was again already cut as a practice run and in my ever increasing 'lot' box.........

so all I had to do was score an A4 piece of card and emboss.

Then stamp and heat emboss the sentiment, then cut out and off-set the with soft gold card.

Ingredients used:-

Signature Butterfly Flourish Die
SB Decorative Labels Eight
M-Bossabilities Dainty Dot Emboss Folder (where would I be without this folder)!!
Tim Holtz Decorative Strip Die
CE Thoughtful Sentiment
CE Soft Gold and Black card
Gold Emboss Powder

Something quite different for me but hopefully you like.

One of my new purchases..............................

I am a bit of a sucker for embossing folders and have quite a few in my collection now - but a lot are 5x7 which I don't use so much - so now I tend to try and buy 8x8 or A4 size as I find these more versatile........................

I did notice some embossing which I hadn't seen before, when Sue was posting cards showing her new die collections - so I kept my eyes well and truly peeled and lo and behold a new range of emboss folders was launched including the one I had spotted!!!

Well her is my first make with said folder...............................

This was made for a friend of our daughters - and whose birthday celebrations we were invited to.

I felt flattered that they wanted a pair of 'fuddy duddies' there with them but we had a really good night - made better by the fact we were able to spend most of the evening outdoors........................

Ingredients used:-

SW Pinpoint Checkboard Emboss Folder (luv it)!
SB Elegant Ovals (luv these too)!!
SB Les Papillons (had these dies a long time - but still luv them)!!!
CE Custard and Soft Gold Card
LOTV Sentiment Stamp
Inky Doodles Age Stamp
CE Pearls & Swirls

The bottom of the card was scored using the Scor-Pal.

I hope you like as much as Emma did - bless her.

I can show it now...............................

an Anniversary card for the other half...................

This has to be one of the easiest cards that I have ever made (oh alright then - maybe not as easy as when I used to put peel-offs onto cards)!!!........................

I know......................

...................................................those were the days!!

Anyhow - we have spent a night away at the coast to celebrate (Saturday) and got soaked through twice.......................

but it didn't dampen our spirits and today has more than made up for it - it has been absolutely beautiful and we have done a very, very long walk and I now have a sore sole where I think the sand has rubbed - but 'hey-ho' it is a small price to pay for a fab weekend.

I hope you have all have all managed to see some of the sun this weekend.

Ingredients for this are barely worth listing but the sentiment stamp is LOTV and I used two stamps to follow on from each other ie I stuck them both to a clear mount and practice stamped until I was happy with how it looked.

Paper is from a 6x6 paper pack which has no name on it - the centre is cut out with SB Hearts Die and I did a bit of faux stitching around the edge to give some definition.

Like I say really simple but I am really pleased with how this turned out and a little different to the Kraft and Black cards I usually make for males.
