I can show it now......

this was a different kind of card for me.....................

CAS - which is a contradiction in terms for me as simple it was not..............................

it took me several attempts to get the final look, first of all I stamped the tree and it wasn't grounded and looked a bit silly - so second attempt looked okay but then I managed to get a finger print on it!!!......................

this is the third attempt........................



I wasn't brave enough to keep it as CAS as I originally intended as I only stamped the birds once but after looking at it for a while I gave in and ended up stamping them twice!!

so not as CAS as it could have been - but we all have to start somewhere......................






I coloured one of the heart leaves with red stickles and managed to keep it in the shape of a heart with the help of a pokey tool.............................




 
 
 
the other half likes it anyway so I suppose that is what counts!!

    Brilliant, the tree of "hearts" is wonderful.
    Love how you picked out the heart and coloured it it.
    Even with 2 lots of birds I would still class this CAS

    Fantastic card Gail. The red heart is brilliant. I'm glad to see that other people get finger marks on cards also. I can always manage it when the card is just finished.

    Gail I think you would get away with this being a CAS card, I like how you have put the red on that one heart.
