A bit of tattered lace.........................

and no it is nothing to do with 50 Shades of Grey!!!

A card I have made with a freebie die from Tattered Lace................

this is the Tattered Lace die which was shadowed onto white card.................

to show how the inner pieces lift to give dimension....................

Ingredients used:-

Embossalicious Tumbling Leaves EF
TL Kaledioscope Corner Die
SB Labels Eighteen
SB Twisted Metal Tags
Steampunk Dreams Sentiment by Sam Poole
CE Diamond Sprinkles
MB Dancing Butterflies die
CE Plum Card and Pearls
Archival Plum Ink

Well first of all can I say thank you for all the well wishes after my fall - I am now feeling a lot better a little way to go but 100% better than I did.......................I must confess I am little disappointed at how long it has taken to improve but maybe that is an age thing!!

Can I also say thank you to Debs (Artliff) and Margaret (Corgi owner) for commenting on my last post...........it is much appreciated and nice to see names that I recognise from other blogs that I visit............I realise that it is not always convenient to leave a comment from a time point of view so not sure if you visit on a regular basis but if you do ''THANK YOU'' and if you don't hopefully you saw something that would make you want to visit again......................

Well a grey and miserable day here today and then rain at tea-time (enough to cancel my walk with our daughter and our gran-puppy) which is not something I would normally do but it is 'persisting' it down!!

Have a good weekend and stay safe.....

  1. Good evening Gail, love your card, that's a great Die, making a beautiful card.
Sorry you missed your walk I know how much you enjoy that. No rain here yet, although it has not been so nice here as it has been in the past.
Glad your feeling a bit better and managing to move about easier.
    Have a good weekend
    Hugs

  4. Love that die Gail it's very pretty. Not good that it's taking a while to get back on track, but no point of over doing things either. Sorry you missed your walk, it does make you feel better up just getting out. Thank you for the great e-mails. Hazel x

  7. Hi Gail, I'm so sorry that I haven't stopped by for a while - thank you for the lovely comments you've been leaving. This card is absolutely gorgeous, such beautiful dies and I love the colour! Also, the card on your last post with all the pearls is stunningly elegant! I'm really sorry to hear that you had a fall and hope you've been taking care of yourself and are on the mend now. x
