The Dies, embossing and paper you have used makes a great card.
Keep on going

Sorry me again, I could not find how to take the "Comment Verification" thingy off.. I am really hopeless on the computer. How my Blog Post manage to get there amazes me each and every time.
ReplyDeleteHopefully someone else might be able to tell you.
You also need to get your "Follower" Box up so that we can start following you.
Hugs

No probs Patricia - I really need to experiment with different things on the site but until I feel a bit more confident I will leave well alone - I'm not sure if I 'undo' something I will be able to reinstate it!!
DeleteThanks for the positive comments - on looking closer I could have put a few more pearls on but MIL loved it - her eyesight is not so good these days so I wanted something that she could feel and something bright so she could make it out and the most important thing is she loved it xx
Gail welcome to blog land. Your card is gorgeous love the colours, keep going I often feel like pulling my hair out with my blog, but you will get it all sorted out soon.

We will at least recognise each other as we will both be bald - thanks for your encouragement xx
DeleteHI Gail, I just popped over from Patricia's blog..welcome to blogland! Your card is gorgeous and your MIL must have been thrilled. Love the colours. Carole Z X
ReplyDeleteThanks Carole xx I know blog watching and commenting is very addictive so I may need a few more hours in my day/night xx
DeleteHi again - re the verification, if you go to settings and click on 'post and comments' from the side menu, you will see 'verification' - just tick no and your done..when you're ready to give it a go! Hope this helps, Carole Z X
ReplyDeleteThanks Carole - I'm on a time limit tonight as I am out with the family for my birthday but when I have a bit more time to 'meddle' I will defo give it a go - Thanks for your advise xx
DeleteHi Carole - I have done what you advised and ticked the no to verification - does this mean that people do not need an account eg Google to log in and leave a comment - sorry if I sound a bit stupid!! xx
DeleteHi Gail
ReplyDeleteVery pretty card and lovely colour scheme.
As Carole has advised, its very easy to remove the comment verification and you will hopefully get lots more lovely comments.
Best wishes
Ang x
Thank you Mrs Duck - I am out tonight for my birthday but will have a 'fiddle' with it tomorrow when I have a bit more time to faff!! I will let you know how I fare xx
DeleteHi Gail
ReplyDeleteI found your link on Patricia's blog and just wanted to welcome you to blogland. Be prepared for major addiction!!! LOL!!
Have fun!
Your card is lovely. Gorgeous colours and such beautiful flowers. I bet your MIL loved it too.
Love Jules xx
Hi Jules - thanks for you lovely comments and yes she did luv it - this was last years card and I did in bright colours so she could see it as she is elderly but I also did a brighter one this year so I will post that one soon - thanks for your encouragement xx
DeleteGail this is a beautiful card. I love the colours and the flowers. If you have ticked the no verification box it just means that people do not have to fill in the funny little box in order to leave a comment but they still need to have a google account. Also it is very kind of you to leave replies to comments but if you do this most people will never see them as usually nobody goes back to the comments once they have left one. I hope you don't mind my pointing this out but you seem to have spent some time leaving replies. It's easier if you just leave a nice comment on the persons own blog. If you are looking for the followers button - go into layout and click on add a gadget this will open up a box with lots of gadgets if you click through them you will find the followers by blogger gadget. By the way Happy Birthday.
