although as you can see there are a few 'older' dies that have been used on this card too!!...........
I have used quite a lot of 'experimental' pieces that I had in my 'lots' box, such as the flowers, leaves and sentiment background, which were cut from card that I had stamped with a background stamp for a project and then decided I didn't like it.................................the peacock coloured frame was another experiment which didn't work out at the time but I decided to run it through the
M-bossabilities Dainty Dots folder and inked again over the top with DI. The panel behind the sentiment is yet again another piece which I had embossed with a Special Touch Chicken Wire mask but the emboss wasn't deep enough for what I wanted - but managed to utilise it on this card......................
You would think with how much I had used from my box for this card it would be going down but for some reason it just seems to multiply (not sure what goes off in my craft room when I am not around)!!!!!
The rest of the ingredients are:-
SB A2 Filigree Delight for sentiment
Personal Impressions 'Happy Birthday' stamp
Justrite 'Sister' stamp
Crafters Companion Regency Swirls emboss folder for card blank
SB Bitty Blossoms for flowers
Brittania Rose Leaf for foliage
White Tuille/Bakers Twine/Teal Dazzler and pearls from stash
I know my sister was 'chuffed' with it........................so that's all that really matters.
Have a fab weekend and hopefully the weather will stay as nice for everyone as it is here

Super card Gail, love the colour combination. All your embellishments are great as well.
ReplyDeleteI don't have a craft room but I know the bits in my box must get up to the same as yours!!! So no matter when the bits are they multiply on their own!! Every few weeks I go through my box putting lots in a bag for the school.
Forecast not good for here over the weekend, hope its is better with you.
Have a great weekend whatever you are doing
Hugs

Good evening Gail, love your card and you have made great use of all those bits from your lots box. I am so glad that the out of school holiday club here were looking for craft off cuts so 90% of mine have gone to them! but I bet when I go to the box it will have refilled itself over night. Great card Gail. I don't have bits anymore - I gave them all away and the rubbish I put in the bin - it's a great feeling.
ReplyDeleteHi Gail thanks for joining me on sharing an oldie. Love your colour combo on this card.
ReplyDeleteHappy crafting.
Hugs Erika.
A gorgeous card, I absolutely love the colour! Beautiful die-cuts and embellishments too - the flower arrangement looks fabulous! Hope you're having a lovely weekend.
