A bit late .....................

oldie for Friday......................

I have been trawling through my PC card file to see if there is anything worth showing from a few years ago and thought I would share these with you....................

the card was made with centura pearl card which I scored into an A5 card and used a score board to edge the card..............the daisy and large yellow brad were from my stash and the stalk for the daisy is from Craftwork Cards and I wrote the details of the Christening date etc on it.................

the ribbon was actually re-used from the Christening invite and the embellishment was made by stamping onto clear plastic square and then colouring the square with alcohol inks.................

insert from one of Crafters Companion CD's - sorry not sure which one as it was made in 2011.........

to finish off I customised a gift bag with 'rub-ons' for the name and a small daisy flower for the dot over the 'i'.........................

Sorry the photos aren't amazing but it was purely for me to refer back too, as when I made these I didn't even know that blogs existed!!

Well I am not sure what happened to the sun we were promised for this afternoon - it is still grey and damp but warm - very weird.

Just got back from a walk with the granpuppy and daughter and was clammy as I had gone out in a fleece and walking coat and ended tying the coat around my waist as I was far too warm.

Not really complaining about the temperature though - just want to see a bit more of the yellow ball before the autumn really kicks in - lots of leaves on the ground now so only a matter of time.

Have a lovely weekend, whatever you are doing.

  2. Good morning Gail,
Love your card and bag. Love how you have used the flower stem for the message a great idea.
As Hazel said its amazing how we all managed to make really nice cards with NO fancy dies. However .......... progress. We will look back in a few years and probably wonder why we "needed" all the Dies.
    Have a great weekend

  3. Hi Gail
Like the girls have said, just shows the super cards we can make without all the whistles and bells. Great idea personalising the bag too. Never thought of doing that before.
    Have a great weekend.
