Well I got this well and truly wrong.................................

not only did I not post this on Friday, it is not an old card...........................

I thought it was supposed to be using Old Die day, Friday!!

Well this is what I came up with (using old dies) although I must confess still some of my favourites.........

The black and white die cuts are from the SB Fleur de Lis set and the teal blue one is from SB Marvellous Squares - this is actually a piece of white card that I have coloured with Peacock Feathers DI - the sentiment is a Stampendous stamp and I inked this while still in the die with the DI to match.

The card blank is 6' x 6' and I ran this through the M-bossalities Dainty Dots emboss folder and finished it off in the corners with CE black pearls.

A very easy card to make as it is all die-cuts and the teal part was an off-cut from another card which I was supposed to post before this one..............................it is for my Sister and her birthday is not until next week, so I will post it after I know she has received it.

I will post an old card next Friday!!!! (honest)!

Enjoy the rest of your Bank Holiday weekend and hopefully you are having better weather than we are.

  1. Good morning Gail,
A really fantastic card, love the use of your pretty Dies. Your colours and design are brilliant.
I think Erika (Snappycrafts) idea was just to post something using some of our "older" stuff that has not seen the light of day for a wee while.
I have posted cards that I made using Sugar Nellie digital stamps.
I made them during a "colouring" period a couple of years ago.
    Thanks for joining in
    Have a great weekend
    Hugs

  2. Good morning Gail, love what you have done with your old but favourite dies. As Patricia has said I think Erika just wants us to either show an old card or use old dies, stamps etc. I am going to join in when we get back and I will have to show old scrapbooking pages seeing I have only started card making 6 months ago.
